Evellyn is a variant spelling of Evelyn. The origin of the name is uncertain. In English (and German) it is a diminutive of Eve, or Eva. This name derives from Hebrew, meaning "life". ("Eve" in Genesis was so named because she was the "mother of all living." (Gen 3.20)
Evellyn Louise Hargrave arrived right on time - hers! She was born on Friday, November 9, at 10:29 PM. And she weighed in at 6 lbs. 15 oz. She is 21 inches long. The lovely lady was greeted by her Dad and Mom, and her Grandma and Grandpa Stanton. She is healthy and active. And she had quite an appetite just minutes into her first day!
